Three. It’s not just a number in Pittsburgh, it’s the number. There are three rivers, the “Three Sister Bridges” (stretching over the Allegheny), three major sports teams, and three stripes going through the PGH Clothing Company logo. Heck, there even used to be a stadium named after the three rivers.

 

The three stripes have also come and gone, but they are back now. Although we can’t bring back the old stadium, the winning ways in the ballpark have also made a return. No need for the pillbox hat to represent the 70s in this new-school rendition of a great era - then again, we’re not going to stop you if you want to go all out.
